The Sherwood lodge is the top of the range Holiday home from the Hull based Atlas caravan company and what a belter ! At 40′ long and 13′ wide this Lodge has everything; space, light and highly specified, you won’t find better value anywhere !! At the back of the Lodge is the main bedroom comprising a large double bed with bedside cabinets, a large wardrobe with drawers underneath and a further three drawer cupboard. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, WC and hand basin with mirrored cabinet above. The second bedroom is unusually large with two 3′ beds with extra sprung mattresses, separated by a bedside table. Storage is in the shape of a large wardrobe with drawers underneath.
A very unusual addition to this holiday home is that it has its own separate utility room which houses a washing machine and a further sink unit which means all washed clothing can be kept separate in its own space, away from the main living area.
The main bathroom has another large shower, WC and basin, again with mirror and shelving over it. The main bathroom can be accessed from the main corridor or from a doorway into the second bedroom. Moving into the main living area we have a large kitchen with side by side fridge freezer, a four hob gas cooker with grill and oven and extractor above. There is a built in microwave there is also loads of counter top space and plenty of storage in cupboards and drawers. Adjacent to this is a rectangular dining table with four upholstered chairs.
The lounge is light and airy with a three seater settee, a rotating single seat chair, a coffee table with storage and TV station with further storage for a Sky box etc. At the far end of the lounge there is a large patio door which will lead out onto your extensive verandah which when built will protrude out to the water’s edge (Please budget for an additional £16k – £17K for the verandah) and provide the essential platform for the all important alfresco dining !!
All in all this is a wonderful package and when allied to its beautiful position next to the lakes at Wayside the combination is irresistible !
