The Victory Lakewood is in a fantastic position on the upper lake of the Wayside Lakes area of the park. Its commanding position gives it great views over both lakes and a terrific vista looking up into the foothills of the North York Moors. At 42′ long and 14′ wide this luxurious holiday home provides a great space for relaxing inside, while the 200sq ft’ veranda provides a terrific area outside to soak up the terrific views while experiencing dining al-fresco; a very important pastime for our Wayside owners !!
Inside, the footprint of the Lodge is enormous. At the rear is the well appointed main bedroom, with its queen sized bed and beautiful padded headboard. There are two bedside tables and modern lighting giving a very contemporary feel to the whole room. There is a vanity unit with stool and mirror, along with a walk in wardrobe cunningly hidden by sliding mirrored doors. There is the en-suite bathroom concealed, again behind mirrored sliding doors and consists of large shower, WC, basin with bathroom cabinet and storage space underneath. Next to the bedroom is the main family bathroom again consisting of a large shower, WC and basin with additional storage. Next door is the unusually large second bedroom with proper sized 3′ beds providing comfortable adult accommodation. There is one shared bedside table, one full sized and one half sized wardrobe with drawers underneath.
When entering the Lodge you are immediately struck by the large entrance hall (unusual in many equivalent sized holiday homes) with its seat to allow people to remove wet and muddy shoes and dry off an equally wet and muddy dog ! Moving into the main living area of the holiday home we have the large kitchen and dining area with all the mod cons you need . There is a five burner gas hob with extractor, grill and oven , built in fridge freezer and microwave and dishwasher under the one and half sized sink. To one side is the dining area with a large rectangular table and four cloth covered chairs. Above the kitchen/diner there is a velux window which lets in loads of light.
Moving into the lounge we have two, large three seater settees, a large coffee table, flame effect electric fire with TV station above. At the front is a vast panoramic window with french doors which frame the fantastic views across the Lakes. Walking out onto the veranda you can watch and hear the stream tinkling its way into the upper lake . The veranda then leads you down the side of the lodge , through the gate and onto your own private car park.
Summing up, this is a great holiday home lovingly cared for, in a great position with terrific views and I suspect it won’t be around for long ! Please call to view .
