Swift Vendee Lodge 42 x 13 used

The Swift Vendee is, in our opinion probably one of the best Lodges that has come out of the Swift Factory in Hull in recent years. At 42′ long and 13′ wide it has a stonking amount of room which is cleverly used to give a feeling of airiness and light and along with its pastel colours provides a very calming, cosy and cottagey feel to the whole lodge. Starting at the back is the large main bedroom with king sized bed, a vanity unit with mirror and stool, plenty of overhead storage and three large wardrobes. There is a seat for dressing at the entrance to the bedroom and a large chest of drawers for further storage. The main bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom , consisting of large shower, WC, basin and mirror and also cupboards and towel storage. The second bedroom consists of twin beds with a shared bedside table, and a further vanity unit with stool. It also has a large wardrobe plus drawers and a dress mirror. Next to the twin bedroom is the family bathroom consisting of another large shower, WC, wash basin and cupboards for storage.
One of the nicest features of the Lodge is the large entrance hall which also has a seat to enable you to take off those muddy boots and somewhere to hang wet raincoats before you enter the Lodge proper ! Moving out of the hallway we enter the kitchen and dining area . The kitchen comprises a 5 hob cooker and oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, making it very much home from home. There is plenty of worktop space and cupboards for further storage. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area which consists of a large dining table and four chairs.
The lounge is enormous and consists of 1 x 3 seater settee and 1 x 2 seater settee , it also has a large footstool with storage and can be used as an extra seat. All the windows have stylish wooden blinds and the french windows have nets across them. There is an electric faux log fire, a mantelpiece with mirror above and a TV station with drawers. Altogether a terrific space.
Outside is a glorious veranda with glass surround and being on the high side of the Lake has terrific views across the whole lakes area and the fields beyond.
All in all this is a wonderful Lodge in a fantastic area of the lakes at Wayside . It will not be around for long. Please book to make an appointment !!
