The ABI Ambleside is probably the flagship of the range provided by this prestigious manufacturer and deservedly so. The lodge oozes quality throughout with its hardwood finishes which are second to none and coupled with the latest materials, makes for a stunning holiday home. At the back of the lodge is the master bedroom with king size double bed with pocket sprung mattresses (the same goes for the single beds in the twin room ), there is plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space and a beautiful vanity unit with large mirror and stool. The master bedroom has en suite facilities including a large shower, WC and basin with bathroom cabinet. Adjacent to the master bedroom is the second bedroom consisting of two 3′ beds for extra comfort plus bedside tables and further wardrobe and drawer storage.
Off the main entrance hall (which has a large storage area and seat to help with removing shoes and muddy boots !) there is the family bathroom consisting of a second large shower, a further WC and washbasin and bathroom cupboards for further storage.
From the main entrance hall you walk into the main living area with its amazing kitchen which has all the normal appliance you would expect to find in your own home, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave a five hob gas cooker an inbuilt grill and oven and a capacious fridge freezer. All tastefully integrated within the wood panelling. Within the kitchen confines is the large dining table with four comfortable cloth covered chairs.
The lounge area of the lodge consists of two freestanding sofas a large footstool, TV station with room for Sky/Freesat boxes, an electric log burner style fire and mirror over the fireplace. The lounge has sliding doors which leads out onto the 180’sq verandah, more than enough room to put a large dining table for those essential alfresco lunches and dinners we all so enjoy at Wayside !! The verandah is surrounded by glass and has a walkway down to the side door and then to the steps leading down to your private car parking space. This is all included in the price !!
